Classes for ages 11+

Middle and high school students have a home at Twirl where they can learn technique, have performance opportunities, and acquire dance skills that will benefit them in shows at schools, local theaters, and beyond.

The following 2019-20 season classes are appropriate for students age 11+

(Classes run from September 5, 2019 to June 10, 2020. Enrollment will remain open through January 2020.)

Ballet I– (ages 8+) Perfect for students taking dance for fun or dancers who are serious about their craft, this level I class is beneficial for posture and focus while establishing a strong technical foundation for other forms of dance.

Mondays 6:30-7:30pm

Ballet II– (classes for ages 8+ and 11+) Students with previous ballet training will love dancing barre and center floor combinations that will feed their spirits and strengthen their dance technique.

My daughter cannot wait for her next class and that’s owed to the studio’s palpable sense of thoughtfulness, creativity, and positivity. Thank you, Twirl!

Musical Theatre Dance II– (ages 11+) This beginning level class focuses on different dance styles found on the Broadway stage and other theatrical venues.  This class is great for beginner/intermediate level dancers and singers who wish to improve the dance aspect of their triple threat.
