The Team Twirl performance group is designed for students who want to get a little more serious about their dance training. It is open to any students who meet the minimum class requirements plus a Team Twirl class. Team Twirl classes will focus on dance technique plus serve as rehearsal time for upcoming performances. Note that Team Twirl students must attend 70% of their required Team Twirl classes. This attendance requirement will be calculated/assessed during the following three time periods: September-December, January-March, and April-June.
The weekly class requirements are as follows:
Team Twirl I (ages 6-7)
Team Twirl II, III, IV, and V (ages 8+)
*Team Twirl classes will focus on dance technique and will also serve as rehearsal time for performances.

In addition to Twirl’s year end show, Team Twirl will participate in 3-5 performances a year . These include community events, nursing homes, and sporting events. And in 2026, Team Twirl will perform at Walt Disney World (the team performs at Disney on even numbered years!).
At Twirl, we believe that dance is a gift to be used to serve others. Whether dancing at a nursing home or in a Broadway show, the dancer’s main obligation is to share their talents as a gift to the audience. This is at the heart of Team Twirl. Serving others by bringing joy through the art of dance is what it’s all about. No competitions. No trophies. No awards. Just a simple focus on giving to the community.
